Drs. Barber and Richardson are pleased to announce a new name and a new partner to the
practice. Dr. Richardson has been with Barber Surgical for over 4 years and is now a partner in
the practice. We look forward to serving you with the same level of dedication to your breast health.
Barber & Richardson PC Philosophy:
The physicians in our practice specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the breast.
We utilize the most advanced and innovative diagnostic procedures in order to guarantee the best
treatment for each individual. Our patients are usually referred by a gynecologist or internal
medicine physician because of abnormal findings on physical exam or diagnostic imaging.
We are also happy to see self-referred patients who are concerned about their breast health
because of changes in their monthly self breast exam or because of a family history of breast
cancer. Our friendly office staff is available Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM to assist you with
appointments, clinical issues, and questions regarding insurance.

Anna Deriso, R.N.C., W.H.N.P., M.S.N.
We would like to announce the addition of Anna Deriso to our practice. Anna will be working in
our office as a certified nurse practitioner. Her goal is to facilitate and improve the care of both
new and established patients.
Anna completed her Master of Science in Nursing program at Vanderbilt University in 1999 with
highest honors. She has had seven years of experience in women’s health, and we are
delighted to have Anna join us.
